Please do not send special-category data, identity documents or other information that is not necessary for an initial commercial enquiry by email. If such data are sent voluntarily, IAS will process them only to the extent strictly necessary to manage the enquiry.
Providing data to obtain a reply is optional; however, without contact details and the minimum information about the enquiry, we may be unable to provide a meaningful response.
Google Analytics 4
Italy Aviation Service srl uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the website and improve its content and navigation. The service collects information about pages viewed and interactions with the website, which IAS uses to review aggregate statistics.
Google Analytics is loaded only after you give consent through the cookie banner. Before consent, the tag is not loaded and no data are sent to Google through Analytics. If you decline, you can continue to access all pages of the website.
Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the website’s tag. For details of the cookies used and how to manage your preferences, please see the Cookie Policy. Data retention periods are set out in the Retention periods section.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be processed by authorised IAS personnel and by providers acting on IAS’s behalf, within the scope of their respective duties and instructions. Recipient categories include the provider hosting and delivering the website, the provider collecting contact-form enquiries, email-service providers, IT-maintenance providers and Google Analytics for the authorised analytics activity only.
The website and contact form are hosted and managed through Netlify. Enquiries submitted through the form are collected through Netlify Forms and made available in the website dashboard; IAS configures access to enquiries and any notifications for authorised persons only. Netlify may process data outside the European Economic Area; IAS uses the service based on the contractual safeguards made available by the provider, including the transfer mechanisms described in Netlify’s documentation.
Google Analytics may involve processing by Google and transfers to countries outside the European Economic Area. IAS enables Google Analytics only after consent and based on the safeguards Google makes available for the service. For current information about provider processing: Netlify Privacy Statement and Google Privacy Policy.
Retention periods
- Technical and security logs are retained only for the period strictly necessary to ensure website operation, security and the management of any incidents, according to the actual settings of the providers used.
- Commercial enquiries received through the form or by email are retained for up to 12 months after they have been handled, unless they develop into a contractual relationship or must be retained longer to comply with legal obligations.
- In Google Analytics 4, event-data retention is set to 2 months and user-data retention to 14 months. The option to reset user-data retention on new activity is enabled: the 14-month period restarts when the user is active again. These settings do not determine cookie lifetimes and do not apply to most standard reports based on aggregate data.
- The choice to accept or reject Analytics cookies is retained for six months through a technical preference cookie.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. You may withdraw consent to Analytics cookies at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, write to privacy@iascta.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
IAS does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on people who visit this website.
